We recently commissioned a completely new planing-cutting mill at our branch in Finsterwolde. This so-called Kallfass installation ensures that the dimensioning of the wood used and of the pallet produced, always precisely meets the preset values. As far as our company is concerned, this production unit is the largest investment we’ve ever made.
Manufacturing calibrated pallets offers our clients and ourselves many advantages. The precise wood dimensioning results in less stagnation on our production lines, while the same applies to the automated production processes of our customers. Our calibrated pallets are much simpler to process than pallets with less accurate dimensioning. Fewer production losses translate into pure profit for our customers. This saves a great deal of time and unnecessary returns. And in the end, it also benefits the environment.
