After Finsterwolde, it was now time to commission a new planing-cutting mill in Venlo. The new planing-cutting mill is housed in an equally new production hall. This installation in Venlo is almost an exact copy of that in Finsterwolde.
In a single production run and fully automatically, this machine planes and saws incoming wood into calibrated dimensions. The production speed means we can produce up to an amazing 225 km of planed wood per day. That’s around six trucks full.
The installation takes up the full width of our new yellow production hall, and represents an amazing step forward in terms of quality. By processing calibrated wood, the complete pallet production process runs more smoothly, with less risk of downtime.
